Description
A five frame nucleus colony comes with five deep frames of drawn comb in a Jester EZ Nuc. Two frames are food/honey frames, and three of the frames will contain various stages of baby bees: eggs, larvae, and capped brood. Each five frame nucleus colony comes with a mated queen that overwintered with the colony from 2025. We will contact you a week ahead letting you know when to pick up your nucleus colony.
The deposit per colony is $50.00 and is non-refundable. You can also pay in full by selecting the option pay in full and the number of colonies you are ordering. The price of these nucleus colonies is $210.00
Transportation boxes are $25.00 each and are required, but refundable if returned in good condition within 10 days. Marked queens are $5.00 extra. You can select the number in the drop down menus.
How to order:
- Do not change the number beside the “Add to Cart” Button even if you are paying in full or purchasing more than one colony. Let the number at 1 and select your options in the drop down menus. If paying deposit only let the number beside the “Add to Cart” button at 1 and select from the deposit only menu.
2. Specify the number of transport boxes and marked queens you need.
3. Specify your pick up location above. Delivery is weather dependent and is tentatively scheduled for pick up on May 9 in Carlisle and Shippensburg. Pick up dates can come earlier or later depending on weather. Specify pickup location by checking the appropriate box above.
The amount paid for transportation boxes in good condition and returned within 10 days will be refunded.
